The BP-83i insert is a 7.2-volt 700mAh rechargeable Ni-Cd battery insert - it goes inside an ICOM BP-83 battery casing. This insert comes welded up and ready to work with. Some disassembly & soldering is required (pop the bottom plate off the casing)
