CM-5A insert: 10.8v NiCd replacement rechargeable insert for ICOM CM-5A battery. This is a special 9-cell odd configuration that fits in the ICOM CM-5A casing. Typically for Marine radios. Spot-welded and arranged just like the original insert. You will need to dis-assemble your original battery, de-solder all wires, and install the new insert.
